Milagros Garrido has 15 years of experience in the public health and nonprofit sector with expertise in sexual health education, reproductive health research, and human-centered design. She has extensive experience working with diverse youth and communities, including Latino communities, LGBTQ+ youth, American Indian communities, system-involved youth, HIV-positive individuals, and youth who are pregnant or parenting. More recently, her work has focused on the intersection of technology and health in how available media, traditional storytelling, and digital tools can be used to translate complex health information and research to reach marginalized populations and promote health and well-being.
